  • What an April 1st!

    So I cannot believe it has only been 2 days ago since I met Carrie! It was wayy more than I expected. She was so sweet and just down to earth. I will never forget that day! Anyways the concert was also AMAZING! I have never seen anything like it! The production was taken to a whole new level. Entertainer of the Year is now up for voting! I really hope us Carrie fans can pull through and win it for her for the 2nd year in a row! No Matter What happens she's still EOTY in my eyes!

    This was probably the best spring break! I really don't want to go back to school, I guess it's not too bad seeing as that I only have a month left until Summer break, So i'll just continue to PLAY ON!! I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter! Don't eat to much candy! =]

    Now as weird as it sounds, it still hasn't sunk in yet that tomorrow I will be meeting Carrie! I think as soon as I see the arena it's going to hit me. Yesterday I finished up the decals for my car and put them on. I started out with the Guns & wings Miranda Lambert logo, then the Pirates P, the last but not least was my Play On sticker! I am so happy with the way it turned out!

    After that I figured I would make my little cousin a Carrie Shirt for the concert, shes only 12 and this is her first time seeing Carrie, shes so excited! So the shirt ended up turning out Great! Shes excited!

    I know this blog is all over the place, I just had to post something because I cant believe this show is 2mrw! And I finally get to meet the 1 person I have looked up to have so much respect for. I just hope I dont forget everything I want to say! haha wish me luck

    So it has been one of the longest weekends of my life! I have been impatiently waiting for the details on the Meet & Greet. How exciting is that, So I am pretty sure it is going to be worth the wait. I have an idea as to what I want to say to her, I just know though when that moment comes I will probably look like a dork and freeze up.

    Anyway while I have that to look forward to! I still have tons of work to do for school... They should give us personal days for Carrie Events and notifications! Haha Its okay though Spring break begins Friday! So what a spring break I am going to have!

    I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! To all going to the Pittsburgh concert... Only 11 more Days!!!!! =] I figured I would throw that in there! haha Have a great week!

    All I can say is WOW! I woke up to an email saying I won a Meet & Greet with Carrie! When in a million years do you expect that to happen! I am not even sure what emotions were going on at that moment! I was nervous/Happy/anxious! It is just surreal. I am not going to give a long story about being a huge fan, because it's not really all about the for me. I knew Carrie was my favorite country artist whenever Jesus Take The Wheel music video came out. I knew she was good before then, but thats the moment where I stopped what I was doing and sat down and thought "DAMN" I can only imagine what this girl is capable of. She just goes on to prove herself with everything she does!

    It's weird but it seems every song Carrie sings I can relate to. Even if I have never lived through it, I feel like it has a greater meaning than just some lyrics to a song! So when it comes down to it, I wont be there as a Crazy fan just wanting and autograph, but as a person who respects/ admires/ and looks up to Carrie. Although the autograph is a nice touch ; ) I just want to let her know I am thankful for her music, and thankful for having such a great role model,

    Anyways long story short! I am grateful to have won the Meet & Greet. I am also extremely excited for the show as well! I have been fighting the urge to look on Youtube and spoil it.. But we only have less than 2 weeks to go! So I think I'll be okay!

    Mellisia, I got my tickets for State College concert, can't wait, My husband is going and my 2 nieces, they have not seen Carrie in concert, so I'm taking them. Hope you had a great holiday weekend. How about our Carrie, Ambassador for Olay. Wonder what else she is gonna do. It's great. Have a great week!!!

    Hi Mellisa. Haven't talk to ya in a while. Are you going to Nashville and Carries Fan Club Party? I got an invite to the party. Carrie isn't signing this year and I'm bummed about it but still get to see her. Just met another FCmember from New Jersey. Hope all is well with you and have a great summer.     Hi Mellisa. Glad to hear from ya. Haven't been doing to much but work .eat and sleep except voting for Carrie on Top 20,Cmt,six pack and ETOY andthe CMT Videos. Tired of voting, it seems like I don,t remember which one I did at a time. Since Carrie exstended her tour I think I,m going to get tickets for Penn States concert Nov. 13th. Excited about that too. Only about six more weeks for Nashville. Coming fast. Hope all works out with you and the inturnship for Froggies. Sounds like fun. Anyhow I will be watching ACMawards tonight and texting for Carrie.     Happy Easter Melissa. Glad to here your going CMA Fest. We are staying at the Holiday In Express at the airport. A friend of mine stays at the La Quinta (don't know if spelled right) it is supost to be reasnable. Found out to late to book there. Great prices for four day passes for all the concerts there. Check them out on CMA websight. Got tickets for softball game, Grandole Opry the night Carrie performs but I got early show only. Going to get tickects for tour of Opry. Also rented a car.     YES! ANd its no big deal. I already met him once that nght anyways so if I ended up not getting the picture it wouldve been just fine. But I did get the picture so its all good!
